Instructions:

Soak lentils. then wash and drain.

Peel and finely dice the onion. Finely dice the bacon as well.

Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the onion. Add the lentils and sauté briefly. Pour in the white wine and add salt. Add bay leaf and saffron.

Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Strain, arrange with the sauce and serve.
