For the hot chocolate, break the chocolate into coarse pieces, place in a saucepan and pour in about a third of the amount of milk. Stir in the sugar and let the chocolate melt very slowly over the lowest possible heat. Stir well repeatedly so that nothing sticks.

Once the chocolate has melted, pour in the rest of the milk and bring to the boil very slowly. Meanwhile, stir the chocolate well with a whisk.

Now remove from heat, pour the hot chocolate into cups and sprinkle some cinnamon powder on top.
