Instructions:

For the djuvec wash potatoes and vegetables. Peel and dice the potatoes and carrots. Dice tomatoes and melanzani. Cut peppers in half, remove white skin, stalk and seeds and cut into cubes. Remove the strings from the bean pods and cut into pieces about 3 cm long.

Finely chop the onions. Heat olive oil in a large pot and sauté the onions. Add the vegetables, rice and finely chopped garlic clove and fry. Add the tomato paste and fry well. Reduce heat and stir in the paprika powder. Pour in 750 ml of soup or water.

Cover and simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Towards the end of the cooking time, season the djuvec with salt and pepper.

Preparation Tip:
