For spiced figs with feta cheese, first prepare the spiced oil.

For the spiced oil, heat the oil with cloves, pepper and anise briefly and not too strongly. Then set aside, infuse well and let cool.

Place the sheep’s cheese, nuts, figs and herbs in layers in a jar until it is completely filled.

Pour spiced oil over it – depending on your preference, you can leave the spices in the oil or strain them out. It looks nicer with the remaining spices!

Close the jar and let the pickled figs with sheep’s cheese sit for about 2 days before eating.
