For the mashed potatoes, boil the potatoes, place them one by one on a tray and mash them (they should remain coherent).
Salt, pepper and sprinkle with rosemary (or other spices, herbs). Roast in the preheated oven at 220 °C for about 20 minutes.

Mashed potatoes go well with meat and vegetables. A dash of olive oil over them makes them especially tasty.
