Knead all ingredients into a dough. Leave to rise in a warm place for one night. Knead again, adding flour. Shape into a loaf. Rise repeatedly on a greased baking sheet. Grease the surface with malt beer. Bake in oven heated to 200 °C for 40 to 60 minutes. Bake with raisins or orange pieces if desired.
