A great cake recipe for any occasion:
Rinse the strawberries, rub dry and cut into narrow slices. Mix egg, milk, flour, 2 tbsp sugar, baking powder and salt until smooth.
Mix 2 tbsp melted butter and half of the strawberries into the batter. In a non-stick frying pan, use 2-3 tbsp of batter at a time to finish baking small pancakes with a little fat. Keep the pancakes warm in the oven at 60 °C until all the batter is baked.
Sugar the remaining strawberries. Briefly bring the syrup to the boil with 2 tbsp. liquid butter. Drizzle pancakes with syrup, add sugared strawberries on top.
