Instructions:

For the dough, whisk the yolks with water. Add powdered sugar and mix until creamy. Stir cornstarch, flour and baking powder well into the mixture and add beaten egg whites.

Spread the mixture on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 180 °C for approx. 12-15 minutes.

For the curd cream, mix yolks with powdered sugar. Add vanilla sugar, curd cheese and some rum. Dissolve gelatine and stir into the cream drop by drop, fold in whipped cream.

Divide the dough into 2 parts. Spread the 1st part with jam and spread the cream on the bottom.

Now place the 2nd part on top.

Preparation Tip:

The curd slices can be sprinkled with powdered sugar.
