For Donkey’s banana bread, mix flour, baking soda and salt. Beat the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs until fluffy, add the banana mash, sift the flour mixture over it and mix everything together quickly.

Bake in a prepared pan in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 60 to 65 minutes. Test with a chopstick, allow to cool for approx. 10 minutes on a rack in the pan, then turn out.

Preparation Tip:

The banana bread tastes great when toasted. A real treat for breakfast.
