Instructions:

For the nut strips, knead a short pastry from the ingredients and chill. Mix nuts, raisins, sugar, lemon juice and water.

Roll out half of the short pastry to baking sheet size, place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread with nut filling.

Leave a little border free. Roll out the second half of the dough and place it on top. Press down the edges, prick several times and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.

Brush with icing while still warm. After cooling, cut into narrow strips.

Preparation Tip:

If you don't like raisins, make the nut strips without.
