For the potato soup, render the bacon in a hot pot and sauté the carrots, potatoes and onions in it.

Add water and soup, cook on low heat until soft and mushy. Cut the sausages into thin slices and heat them briefly in the soup. Season with salt, nutmeg and white pepper.

Divide the potato soup into soup plates and serve with toasted black bread cubes and chopped parsley.
