For the saffron pasta, cook pasta in salted water until al dente, strain and set aside.

Slowly melt cream cheese, adding milk and sprinkle in saffron.

Cut ham into strips and stir in. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Serve the saffron pasta garnished with basil leaves.

Preparation Tip:

Vegetarians omit the ham in the saffron pasta.
